What initially appeared to be a tragic trekking accident at Pune's famous Lohagad Fort has now emerged as a shocking murder case, with investigators uncovering what they describe as a carefully planned conspiracy involving a fiancée and her alleged lover.

Police claim the victim's fiancée, Siya Goyal, and Chaudhary were in a relationship before her engagement to Agarwal. Investigators allege that despite the wedding arrangements, Goyal did not want to proceed with the marriage and conspired with Chaudhary to eliminate Agarwal.

Investigators say Lohagad Fort was not chosen randomly. Evidence suggests the victim had visited the location multiple times before the fatal incident. Police also examined call records, CCTV footage, witness statements, and digital evidence while reconstructing the sequence of events.
